Once a common sight along the Rhine, basket making has now become obsolete. As you make your own basket, this course will introduce you to the essential basic techniques for anyone wishing to take up this ancient craft again. Bring with you: pointed knife and secateurs. Prior enrolment compulsory.

The Lauterbourg Carnival is one of the traditions which is passed on from one generation to the next. Young and old alike spend excited weeks getting their floats ready for the traditional Carnival Cavalcade.
The festivities continue in the Lauter Community Hall with entertainment from Les Joyeux Lurons.
